HOME REMEDIES FOR SORE THROAT

POSSIBLE CAUSES

Sore throat is not a disease, it is most often a mild symptom that most specialists associate with a bacterial or viral infection.
However, other causes can explain a sore throat such as:


Smoking and smoking
The stress
Gastroesophageal reflux disease
An allergy
The pollution
Drought (dust)
The extreme use of air conditioning
Closed, non-aerated living or working environments
Weak immune system
Exposure to irritating chemicals
Poor hygiene
Recurrent or chronic sinus irritation or infection.
Although unpleasant, here is our selection of sore throat treatments at Home to relieve you.


1) DRINK INFUSIONS

ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE SORE THROAT STUFFY NOSE.


CIDER VINEGAR + HONEY INFUSION
In a cup of hot water, add 1 teaspoon of cider vinegar and 1 teaspoon of honey, consume this hot mixture.
Do it in the morning and evening for 3 to 4 days.


LEMON + GINGER INFUSION
Boil about 1 litre of water, once it is hot, you can add 2 organic lemons and a root of about 5 to 10 mm of ginger (or simply 3 to 4 tablespoons of ginger powder).
To consume all day long, heat a little before each consumption.


MILK + ONION INFUSION
Slice a medium onion, pour a litre of milk into a saucepan and bring the milk to a boil, then pour the chopped onions into the hot milk, cover for 10 to 15 minutes.
Filter the mixture, drink this infusion 3 times a day for about 3 to 4 days.


CLOVE + LEMON INFUSION
Lemon for its antimicrobial properties
The clove for its anesthetic side.
Boil about 200 ml of water, add 6 cloves and 1 organic lemon, let infuse for 5 to 10 minutes.
Filter the infusion, you can drink several cups a day.


THYME INFUSION
Boil 200 ml of water, add 2 sprigs of thyme, let infuse for 5 to 10 minutes.
This infusion is consumed twice a day, maximum 3 times a day no more.


2) MAKE GARGLE

SALT WATER GARGLE
Every hour or so, make a gargle with salt water (1 teaspoon of salt in a cup of hot water).
Do not rinse your mouth, let the salt work.


GARGLE TO THE INFUSION OF SAGE
Boil about one cup of water in which 2 sage leaves will be infused.
Gargle every morning and evening, do not rinse your mouth.

LEMON GARGLE
Boil about 200 ml of water, add the juice of one organic lemon,
Gargle about 2 to 3 times a day until the sore throat disappears.


GARGLE WITH ESSENTIAL OILS
In a 5ml codigout bottle, mix:

20 drops of thujanol thyme essential oil
08 drops of niaouli essential oil
08 drops of peppermint essential oil
08 drops of mountain savory essential oil

Dilute 4 drops of this mixture in a glass of warm water, make gargle 3 times a day, do not swallow the mixture.
